Former Colt Asselin Drafted by White Sox

Former Colts pitcher and Sonoma State star Kevin Asselin was drafted in the 30th round of the MLB Draft on Friday, June 6th. The 6-1, 180 lbs. right-hander was an All-Region selection for the Seawolves in 2008.

Asselin was 9-3 with a 3.55 ERA for Sonoma State as a senior in '08. He was third on the team with 75 strikeouts and first with three complete games. Asselin earned Second Team All-West Region and All-CCAA honors.
