Concordia University Baseball

Sophomore right hander Brian Klimenko has accepted a baseball scholarship to Concordia University in Irvine, California. Coach Mike Grahovac's ball club finished 22-26 overall in 2009. The Eagles were a 2008 NAIA Regional II Finalist, 2007 NAIA Region II Finalist, 2006 NAIA Region II Champions, taking 7th Place in the 2006 NAIA World Series.

BORG TO PLAY AT SAN JOSE STATE

Coach Steve Hoff has announced that Colts infielder Nick Borg will be playing baseball in 2010 for the San Jose State Spartans.

JOHNSTON AND KILBURG TO PLAY SUMMER BALL IN HAWAII AND JAPAN

All-American DJ Johnston and 2nd Team All-Conference pitcher Brett Kilburg have been invited to play baseball in Hawaii and Japan this summer for the Hawaii Island Movers. Both players will join other D1 players from a variety of colleges throughout the mainland and Hawaii.

DJ JOHNSTON NAMED ALL-AMERICAN

Colts freshman first baseman DJ Johnston has been named a 2009 Northern California All-American, according to Spincostats.com. Johnston was also named 2009 Pacific Conference "Player of the Year". Johnston joins Max Kautz and Wade Reynoso of the 2008 Colts as the most recent Canada College All-Americans.
