"SWING FOR BASEBALL" - COLTS GOLF TOURNEY SET FOR NOV. 3RD

The 4th Annual Cañada Colts "Swing For Baseball" Golf Tournament will take place November 3rd, 2008 - hosted by "Hooked On Golf" TV and radio personality Mitch Juricich. Participants will tee it up at scenic Crystal Springs Golf Course in Burlingame, California.



"This is our major fundraiser for the year," said head Coach Tony Lucca during the event's kickoff meeting. "Proceeds for the event go directly to the Colts baseball program. We're asking for friends, families, alumni associated with the Colts to sign up to play golf, attend the dinner or act as a sponsor. Their generosity will help us compete as a quality program."



The event is much more than just a golf tournament. After the last foursome putts in on 18 is when when the real fun begins. A banquet follows, complemented by prize drawings and a live auction - featuring the comedic stylings of Juricich. "I love doing it, " said Juricich. "My son Keith played here (Now playing for St. Joes in Brooklyn, NY) , it's a great group of coaches and we truly do have alot of fun."

The first 120 golfers to sign up will be accepted - and the deadline to sign up is November the 1st.
