COLTS AMONG STATES BEST



The Colts head in to Thursday's game at Monterey with a 21-9 overall record - one of the best overall records in California JC baseball. And on April 1st, The California Community College Athletic Association released updated statistics for the 2009 season. Several Colts have made the Top 25 in a variety of pitching and offensive categories, not to mention the fact that the
Colts team ERA is at 3.21 - ranked 6th in the state.

Saves: Brett Kilburg is currently ranked 2nd in the state with 6 saves.
RBI: Bobby Scott is currently ranked 9th in the state with 33 RBI.
Stolen Bases: Chris Viegas is currently ranked 11th in the state with 17 stolen bases
HRs: Bobby Scott is currently ranked 15th in the state with 6 home runs.
Wins: Brian Klimenko is currently ranked 16th in the state with 5 wins.
Innings: Ray Torres is currently ranked 18th in the state with 56 innings pitched
Hits: Chris Viegas is currently ranked 23rd in the state with 41 hits.
Walks Per Game: Ray Torres is ranked 24th in the state allowing 1.45 BB every 9 innings
