LUCCA TO COACH IN ALASKA SUMMER LEAGUE

The Anchorage Bucs announced today that Canada skipper Tony Lucca will be brought on as a coach for their ball club during the 2009 Alaskan Summer League. Along with the Cape Cod League, the Alaska Summer League is the elite summer program for D1 players and prospects. Lucca will be the offensive assistant coach in charge of hitting and base running. Under Lucca's guidance, the Colts recorded their best season since 2001 - finishing 29-12 overall and 17-8 in the Coast Pacific Conference. Congratulations to Coach Lucca from everyone in the Colts family for this distinct and well-deserved honor.
