MISCUES COST COLTS, FALL TO MONTEREY 8-6



Despite 15 hits, including a 4-4 performance by freshman catcher Mark Gresh, the Colts lost 8-6 to host Monterey. The usually flawless Colts defense committed four errors, two coming in Monterey's three run seventh inning. First baseman DJ Johnston went 4-5 at the plate for Canada, with a double, home run and 3 RBI. Canada's record is 21 - 10 on the season and 10 - 6 in league.
