COLTS TO FACE CSM IN PLAYOFFS
In a historic first, the Canada Colts will open the 2009 California Community College Baseball Playoffs against longtime county rival College of San Mateo. The games will be hosted by Golden Gate Conference Champion CSM (30-11 overall, 18-7 in league). The first game of the best of three series takes place Friday, May 8th at 2:00 p.m. Canada finished third in the Coast Pacific Conference with a 17-8 league record, and an overall mark 29-12 - beating CSM 6-3 in their only meeting of the season back on March 15th.

Hmm. The first game is Friday, May 7-?? No, it isn't. Friday is the 8th of May. Or is the first game on Thursday, the 7th?
