STATE PLAYOFFS ROUND 1: COLTS LOSE IN 9TH TO CSM 5-4$BlogItemTitle$>
Everyone in the ballpark knew it was going to be a dogfight - and it lived up to its billing. In game #1 of the NorCal State Playoffs the CSM Bulldogs picked up a run in the bottom of the ninth to defeat the Canada Colts 5-4. Two errors bit the Colts, in a game in which they outhit CSM 6-5. Freshman Anthony Armanino pitched superbly for the Canada, and Pierson Jeremiah picked up a pair of doubles and two RBI. The Colts will try to take two from the Bulldogs on Saturday - first game @ 11:00 a.m. / CSM.
